What It Is

Ubiquitous Amethyst, here's what it is: a blog about me and my arts and crafts. Probably my pets will show up on occasion. They like to help with my arts and crafts, sometimes. Other times, they would rather my attention be on them, so they get in the way of my arts and crafts. I talk about them all the time, so it is only inevitable that I will work them into a blog about me, my arts, and my crafts.

So, what are my arts and my crafts? If I had to choose one word to describe them...you guessed it!...ubiquitous! I am all over the place with arts and crafts. I love crochet, watercolor, felting (needle and wet felting), decorative painting, knitting, writing (prose, poetry, etc.), form drawing, drawing with colored pencils or beeswax crayons or chalk, sewing, and dancing. I'm sure this list is not complete. I also feel confident that this blog will bounce around as I do, from art to craft, etc. I have recently had the idea of limiting myself to focusing on one particular art or craft for a full moon cycle. We just had a new moon Friday night (central time), so this seems to be the appropriate starting point. We shall see what the cycle brings!
